25 November 2020 – Vantage Point Consulting is proud to announce we were selected by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) to assist the organization with its annual strategic Project Portfolio Planning and Implementation Management processes. We are excited to collaborate with ARL to development a set of replicable processes, workflows, Smartsheet-enabled dashboards, and an implementation plan for ARL staff and committee members. The design and development of these program and project management support services will be built on industry best practices drawn from both the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile), but tailored to the context of ARL’s organization. “Vantage Point is able to supplement project management consulting services with a full set of human-centered design, rapid prototyping, development, and business intelligence services for our clients. This approach can be valuable in helping our clients overcome implementation barriers that may arise in the course of managing strategic action plans,” said Jeffrey Carpenter, Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Vantage Point Consulting. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with ARL, which has a mission that is aligned with our own company values of championing equity, diversity, and access with its member organizations.” Vantage Point will be holding Design Thinking Workshops with all ARL staff as we co-create future processes that work for ARL. In addition, Vantage Point will help ARL implement Smartsheet across the organization to provide planning and collaboration across project teams.
